Trampoline Pads Reference Guide When buying replacement trampoline pads, you need to consider how thick and wide the padding is, as this will affect how well they protect the user should they fall on to the trampoline. Consideration must also be given to the quality and durability of your replacement trampoline pads. A good set should last a minimum of 5 years, so if you’re having to replace yours within this time, your original pads were probably of an inferior quality. The pad outer material must be of a high enough quality that they will not fall apart. Cheap pads are made of lower quality materials and though the manufacture will no doubt talk about how thick the padding is, if the outer material is not a high grade PVC or PVC/Rubber mixture (this being the most durable) rain will cause them to rot over time. Also you need to consider the quality of the padding material itself. Spare trampoline pads are generally referred to as having foam in them, but foam comes in many different qualities and densities. Our top-end replacement trampoline deluxe pads contain EVA foam, the densest available. They offer immense cushioning properties and the foam will not be affected should water manage to seep in through the outer covering. At Trampoline Spares Direct, we offer a wide range of trampoline pads to suit most trampoline makes. Click this link to see our extensive range: trampoline pads
