When buying replacement trampoline pads, you need to consider how thick and wide the padding is, as this will affect how well they protect the user should they fall on to the trampoline. Consideration must also be given to the quality and durability of your replacement trampoline pads. A good set should last 5 years, so if you have to replace yours within this time, your original pads were probably of an inferior quality. The pad outer material must be of a high enough quality that they will not fall apart. Cheap pads are made of cheap materials and though the manufacture will no doubt talk about how thick the padding is, if the outer material is not a high grade PVC or PVC/Rubber mixture (this being the most durable) the good old British rain will rot them.
